Which social media distribution channel generates the highest quality, high-intent inbound opportunities for a business?

Hi. If I had to double down on one channel for the next two years, I’d pick LinkedIn without hesitation. To start, it's one of the few channels where it's possible to still grow a following organically, rather than pay to play like the others.
Twitter is great for stream-of-consciousness testing. I use it to post half-baked thoughts and see what the feedback is. But it lacks permanence. It's here today, gone tomorrow.
Instagram is fine for vanity - but not much else.
Substack is actually very strong - but it is going to put all the responsibility on you to drive traffic to what you post. The positive part is that it's the only platform where you actually "own" your followers.
A community of a few thousand on LinkedIn might not feed the ego the way a half-million followers elsewhere do. Trust me, though: it’s a lot more useful and a lot healthier in the long run. A few thousand deeply engaged followers are much better than 100x of casual ones.
Most importantly, people on LinkedIn are already in a business mindset. That is where the intent lives. They aren't just scrolling for entertainment; they are looking for solutions. Stop worrying about massive volume. Focus like a surgeon on building a deep, engaged community on the one platform where people actually expect to spend money.
