How do you evaluate whether a target market wedge is narrow enough for a new marketplace startup?

Yes — that’s much tighter. “Emerging creative talent for high-growth wellness and luxury fashion brands in London” is something you can actually test.
But I’d still push you: wellness and luxury fashion may share talent, but do they share buyers, budgets, urgency, and buying process? That matters more than creator overlap.
Manual matching is exactly right. Don’t automate what you don’t yet understand. Every manual match should teach you: why this brief, why this creator, why now, why paid, why repeat?
Your next proof point isn’t supply. It’s repeat demand. One brand coming back three times is worth more than 1,000 creators waiting around.
